92 LE Passenger Seat Hinge

This is a new one to me. The passenger seat started wobbling all over the place when unlatched and swiveled forward.



Turned out the hinge had rusted and then snapped when I swiveled the seat forward. The dealer ordered the replacement (too dang hot to run through the junk yard) part number 4358109 for $53. No problem swapping out the broken one and putting in the new one.

$53 for a $2 hinge. One wonders.

Yup. But they stocked it, unlike a lot of other places that have given up on the First-Gens. I didn't have the patience to get an ordinary piano hinge and drill holes.
