Archived 92 w250 wont run right

My 92 will not run right idles but misses it won't run hardly at all at anything over idle misses and stumbles really bad I have changed the lift pump with a new one from Napa because the old one was Napa and they warrantied it I sent the injection pump off to be checked out and they found some stuff wrong I cleaned the tank pickup screen I don't know what else to do.

Sounds like you got air in the system! Injectors could be shot!





But first do a fuel pressure test!

Did yo get the pump back and it stil doesn't run right? Might be time to have the injectors pop tested and reset.

Ya got the pump back and still runs the same I'm thinking its getting air in the system because I shut it off for awhile last night and ylthen restarted it and ran fine I reved it up a couple times and then it started missing again

Ok, thtaq mnakes a lot more sense. Start back checking all the connections and lines. The fuel heater gasket and electrical connector are a great place of leaks and air to get in. The line sfrom the LP to the tank will rot out and cause all manner of issues.

I put air pressure to the tank and I have fuel spraying from behind the fuel filter. Can the return line sucking air cause a problem?

I bypassed the fuel heater this winter also

Yeah, any holes in the lines can and will lead to air in the system at some point. Totally foul up starting and running. Since the stock fuel pump is not a constant pressure if you are leaking fuel when it is running it is then sucking air.

I found a loose line connection tightened that and didn't seem to help anything . I put pressure to the tank Again and can't find any o
