I have a friend with a rolled 93 Dodge Cummins with 113K. It was wrecked in Oct 07. We had talked about it some months ago and it was "sold" then, but the cash was never flashed. His employees had gone from ne SC to Georgia to pick up a grave monument and ran off the road and rolled it. I saw it for the first time today: The interior has been gutted, the underhood all looks good, oil looks good, engine valve cover even looks newer. He (the second owner) adamantly declares the original owner had put an Allison transmission in the thing (even told me the part number of the trans filter). So , what is this whole truck or engine or engine/trans worth? How would you advertise? Thanks for your help! Mark

Unless he did alot of Mod's to body he's fooling you on the trans I would have to see it too believe it as for advertising it Wrecked dodge truck 113k good for Part's only

Advertise it as the 250 model D or W not 2500. Nobody will respond to an add placed with the description of "1993 2500" because they will think that you don't know what your selling.

Somewhere between $1000 and $2000 is probably in the ball park IF it really does run and everything works. I find it hard to believe the Allison installation as well. If it does have an Allison I might be interested in it, live in the Athens, GA area.
