93 D250 Wait to start light stays on?

Anyone else have the problem of the Wait to start light flashing on and off for the first 25 miles?

Happens on cold mornings, or evenings.

Any idea as to why this happens, I have replaced the air sensors and still have not fixed this problem.



Any one have the same problem, any fixes or ideas?

Wait to Start Lamp

Was just looking at the wiring diagrams, looks like the lamp is connected directly to the engine controller. From looking at the connections to the message center, the common side of all the lamps, except for the low fuel, is fed from the ignition switch, so this would mean that the signal from the engine controller would be a ground return. Could be that there is a short to ground between the engine controller and the message center.
