I have been told by several different sources that these pumps can wear out or wear sufficiently to cause problems after 100k miles. Anybody experienced this?

I wore mine out at 130,000 but i think it was cause by a little to much tweekin on the fuel screw with the stock injectors, i ended up wearing out 2 rollers and breaking a chunk out of the cam plate, i good sign of a pump wearing out (cam and rollers) on mine anyway, i kept getting metal shavings in my fuel shut off selinoid and the motor would not shut down, but other than that the truck never seemed to miss a beat

My rebuilder, RPM Diesel, told me the pump won't stand tweaking. I'm looking for bigger injectors, so far without success (89).
