93 or 93.5????

Anybody know what the date of manufacture would have to be to make a truck a 93. 5 rather than a 93? What was updated on the 93. 5's?



My DOM is 3-93.

Mine has a build date of 8/93. I bought it 8/27/93 the same day the dealer got their first 94. The only difference you might find is some of the last 93s off the assembly line have 94 parts on them. My cylinder head and flex plate are for a 94. I'm not sure if the early 93s needed the carrier shim or not. I'm not aware if there are any cosmetic differences but I doubt it.
