I have a 93 W350 that I rescued from a fertilizer company that worked hard most of it 150,000 miles. It was maintained quite well, new injector pump not long ago, new radiator, new rear end. I put on a new cab, rebuilt the transmission, built a nice new flat bed for it and am using it around the farm. I am comparing it to a 91 that I bought new and put a Banks kit on it so long ago, I can't remember what it ran like when it was stock. The 93 runs quite rough at idle, (vibrates the truck), spools up quite slowly (Expected) and does not seem to reach the RPMs the old 91 does. My neighbor has a stock 92 auto that seems to run stronger also. Would lazy injectors make the vibration and no rev? What is the deal with the governor spring? I am not looking to build a race truck but I would like to get a little more out of it. It is a good looking truck now, I just want to make it run a little stronger. Where do I start?
