93 water pump

I noticed a squeal from the belt on my 93 today. Upon inspection it is leaking coolant where the water pump mates to the block. I thought this job wouldn't be that bad, but when I try to put a wrench on the tensioner it only loosens the bolt instead of moving the tensioner. Any ideas or thoughts would be extremely helpful.

There should be a square hole(for 1/2' or 38') somewhere in the tensioner where you can insert a square drive break over bar or ratchet to hold the tensioner out of the way while you remove the belt. bg

Thanks B. G. sometimes when you are hot, frustrated, and in a big hurry the simplest things can't come to mind. I will cool down and take another look at it this evening.

Never a bad idea. The CTD water pump is the easiest one I have ever seen or heard of. The only way it could be easier is if it were on an extended nose semi.
