It has 188000 miles and is spotless. It has a banks power pack on it, what is that consist of?

He says the auto is in good shape .

how much does it cost to rebuild the auto to handle the cummins and my abuse? What is the truck worth. He is asking 8900 but kbb says it is only worth 7500. Thanks for your info. Jon

I paid 9950 (before taxes and stuff) for mine 3 years ago. So he does seem a bit high but it's really depends on how much the truck is worth to you. How bad ya want it.

It kinda depends on which one he put on it. The most basic comes with a new wastegate and fuel plate. From there it goes up to add exhaust, gauges, twin ram intake, and some other stuff.

Well it cost a tad over $3800 for my Blumenthal transmission. DTT, ATS, and everybody else seems to be around 3-4k for a fully built trans. But you can do a torque converter and valve body for less. If it's been well maintained and reg service it should be good, but I would want more than his word to back it up (service reciepts or records of some kind). May even request the truck be checked out by a dealer you trust before the deal is done.

I believe with shipping and all, you can get a DTT TC and VB for like 1550$ I think the Suncoast models are cheaper.

I just saw a 95 the other day here in NM. It was an extended cab, 4x4, had 4", gauges, BHAF, and a plate and they guy was asking 11,000. It was clean.

Another option would be to call Dave Goerend at Goerend Bros. He was very helpful when I did the rebuild myself, has parts that will hold 500 hp, and came out to be significantly less than $1500 for a VB and TC. Turned the ol' '94 into a whole new beast.
