I have a 94 auto, 160 HP, pyro and boost gauges, 60K. Installed a Banks Stinger (inj pump cam plate; added +30 HP ??). I am going to install a GSK next. I would like to install 215 HP injectors. The question is whether the 160 HP pump will work efficiently with 215 injectors, or whether I need to install new delivery valves to accomodate bigger injectors? I drive the truck mostly solo; tow my jeep once a year. Want a little more "get up and go". Thanks for any experience/suggestions.

Good question. I have the same set up (no plate yet).

I also have a question: Is worth the problem to find (& install) a 215 pump to go with the plate or to stick with the 160 pump and add a plate and injectors.

I am also looking for more "get up and go", and not use as a "Batmobile". I will be towing only once in a blue moon.

I believe your truck would run just fine with the 215 injectors. They seem to compliment the 160 pumps. The 370's could cause a stumble that only a few guys have been able to fix.

There are a few guys running the 215's on their 160 engines.

The 160 pump may not get you on top of the HP scale but they can be made to run pretty good.

I put in a #4 plate,3k's and a 16cm housing from Piers and was a 292/680 at the rear wheels vise 180/440 that the motor was rated at!

Plate-$325 , GSK $125. 00 , Housing $175. I really doubt the 4" exhaust helped much, just run a good flowing Muff and get rid of the Converter!

I have a 94 2 WHD, 160 pump. I put down 343 RHP with TST#5 plate 16cm housing, 215 Injectors, timing at 15. 5, the 215s work well on the 160 pump with stock dilevery valves, but you had better upgrade your transmission if you go that route.

You can use 215 injectors. You can also get a plate for a lower price than one of those systems. For more details including swapping to the 215 hp pump, contact me off line.
