Anyone have an idea of what a 94 standard cab 4X4/auto weighs? Round about figure is ok, no need for exact numbers. Curious because I will be running my truck tomorrow and want a rough estimate of what power it's making based on it's performance, but I need an apporoximate weight. Never thought i'd see the day when i'd be more excited to run the Ram more than my 10 second Grand National. See what BOMBing does to a guy?!? #ad

My '98 Reg Cab 4x4 weighs in around 7000 lbs with me (240 lbs) and the following gear: Fiberglass cap, 200 lbs of misc tools/gear and 285/75r16 tires. Without this stuff, you might be around 6500 lbs.

Hope this helps.

Well, let's see...

My tailgate is off, all I really carry are tapes and CDs, maybe a few wrenches and factory spare tire tools. I also have a bed liner. The truck has a spare and I run 285/75/16s on the stock steel wheels. The truck is pretty heavily optioned. About the only thing it doesn't have is power seats. It has a few cosmetic add-ons, like a Racer Back cab spoiler, bug and fender shields.

From what i've read here with other members trucks, i'm guessing weight is somewhere bewteen 6500 and 7000lbs. I'll know better when I get to E-Town and put the truck on the scale, but for now a decent estimate will do fine.

Thanks for your input!

Turbonatr, nice collection of turbo vehicles. I have an 87 T type that I bought new and it is still stock. If you want to add another type of turbo vehicle have a look at the VW TDI. We bought a 2000 and it is an amazing vehicle in both performance and economy.

Illflem
Better check the scale your using.
Mine weighed in at 6400 with a full tank of fuel and me not in it. I have a 5spd. and splitter. Bed liner, ans step bars.

Well gents, I have a baseline e. t. , 15. 18 at 86mph in 4WD. I'm going to run it through a program and see what kind of power I come up with. I think i'll go conservative and plug in a 6000lb. truck weight.

Ok, plugged in my 1/4 mile performance based on 6000lb, 6500lb and 7000lb. Until I actually weigh the truck, I figured I'd get numbers for a few different truck weights. These HP figures are based on a Mustang's body, not the aerodynamically challenged Ram.

6000lbs. 339hp
6500lbs. 367hp
7000lbs. 395hp

Take your pick.
