What I mean is, people bust there hump building good motors, tuneing them, laying down decent numbers there proud of, and then some folks come on here and try to tear them down, WHY? I see it all the time on these threads. What would be the advantage of posting false or inflated numbers is the question?

Yes, Scott, WHY????

Dynos have been a game since results started appearing on this board.

What was Richards HP number a few weeks ago? Did he make major changes to gain the latest figure? Yes? No? Just got lucky and jumped 50 horse I guess.

50-100-150 HP is easy to find once you are above 750 or so, eh Scott?

Just perhaps once, I'd like to see someone say,"The dyno was reading high. "

Because poor ole Sleddy doesn't even have a truck anymore! He has to tear them down!

Hey Sleddy you ever make that golf cart get out of it's own way?

Thanks to all those that had nice things to say. :D To all others, who cares!!!! :{ If you got something to challenge me with then bring it on, and we will see who's making horsepower. :-laf

Gene, I think if you talk to David Dunbar about my dyno run last month you might learn that I had some fueling issues and was cutting out causing some spikes and dips, one was in the 965hp range. To be fair he smoothed those out and came up with the 868hp. At the Bullydog event I had that fuel issue resolved, and so is it really all that hard to figure out where I came up with the extra horsepower? Oops I forgot it's Gene I am speaking to, and some things are just hard for you to understand. :-laf

Ya know, may be the dyno was off or on. Who cares. If you want to bring someone down. Show up and prove that they have a lesser truck! If not, give them a pat on the back for a job well done and move on. I didn't even scare those numbers but it was cool to see it happen! So, good job and keep up the good work. It was all in fun and that is exactly what I had.

Just my $. 02.

Can sombody out there please tell me what would be the advantage to posting non-legit numbers? is there some huge jackpot to be won or something that I am not aware of.

Yea, to date I have 3 trophy's for all the money I spent. What is nice though is getting to these event and being around the positive people..... you guys are the best.

Richard I knew you would get it smoothed out... ... ... and yes I watched his run at the TS Performance event too so the number are legit.

To say there are no politics played at some dyno events is not exactly true. But what I saw Richard do at Bullydog is a very real thing. If you have been at very many dyno events, you can tell when a truck runs a great number. Richard has been to so many events all over the country todate how could they all be wrong. As for the parts coming from the midwest, that is very funny. No dynos in the west are accurate, that is very funny!

congrats to richard for a good run on the dyno my numbers were about 25hp lower at bullydog then it was last september at weekend on the edge and i have done alot more fuel and air upgrades inbetween the 2 events yes i do belive there were alot of bad poltics going on at bully dog but what can you do  i think it was a waste of $45 in my oppion

i aint complaning but it was my first dyno run, you could tell when a truck was making more power than the others.

Those who know Richard realize he has done a lot of work and learned a lot. There will always be one or two who have to sneer, but they also make about half as much power, it seems. Of course their brother's cousin's uncle's friend knows company X whose service truck makes more. Those envious people then switch allegiances to match the current champ near where they live, and say "WE did such and such. " "We" meaning someone else in that half of the country, who probably won't even recognize the big talker.

Richard has competed at many dyno events. Sometimes he won. Sometimes he "lost" meaning only that someone else made more power, not that his truck was weak. He is always a gentleman, and remains so despite unwarranted sneering. Let us hope that high standard will be taken up by those who have been criticizing and belittling others' accomplishments.

Gene go out and snort some more Amsoil and WAKE UP. Richard drove all the way out to your neck of the woods when you coming out here with your budies big horse power DREAM truck. We'll let you trailer it out so that it keep that mid west fuel in it so that there are no excused when the Dog chases it back home :{
