I've had this going on for almost a month now. The ABS and BRAKE lights stay on everyday that the truck is driven. I adjusted the rear brakes and they turned off for two days, then I took off the drums to overhaul the adjusters, and the lights came back on. I took off the rear speed sensor and cleaned it,but the lights are still on.

Anybody ever experince this? I thought someone had a thread similar to this earlier this year, but the search feature turned up nothing. Truck is a '95 2wd with rear only ABS.

same thing happened on my 96 4x4 after a hard panic stop. had to go dealer to have the code reset in the computer, has not come on since. lightfoot

Mike--

I just had the same thing happen last month. I learned here on the TDR that it was the rear wheel speed sensor. It is located on top of the differential and was very easy to change. Local Dodge dealer charged me $73. 50 plus tax. Pretty outrageous for such a simple part!

Check your brake lights. I had the same thing on my 94. It was the "stop lamp fuse" at cavity 20 in the fuse block.

Hope this helps
