It would have to be EXT cab.

Depending on miles and other condition, It need to come down about $1800.

That's still way above loan value.

Brother picked up his '94 for $7000 a few mths ago ..... it wasnt a cherry at all

the 95' has the 160 Pump so Big Bombing Would require a pump conversion .

Mike. .

I have seen 2 95 standard cab SLT's with just over a 100,000 miles bring a tad over $12,000 here in my area. IF,and thats a keyword here,IF the truck is clean and when you drive it it has no major issues(wandering, pulling, transmission slippage, etc etc) its a buy at $9,800 and its a Ext Cab. Just make sure you go over it real well before you pull the trigger on the deal. If you have any questions feel free to call, you should have the number.

Actually DM your incorrect,

Most shops prefer the 160 or 180 pumps for performance pumps. So the truck having the smaller pump is not a hinderence at all. I have seen a decent amount of power made with the trucks equipped with the smaller pumps. The old wives tale of needing the "215" pump is just that. Sure, when doing your own mods a 215 pump is a great place to start as its minor work you can do yourself. However, ask a guy who sets up these pumps for a living and see how many times you get told the smaller pumps make better canidates for modifying.

I do not think EXT cab came out until "96

Driftwood Ram. .

1994 was the first year for the second generation Cab and it was a standard cab only. 1995 was the first year for the Extend Cab option and it ran all the way until 1998. 1998 was the first year for the Quad Cab and its was a option as was the Extend Cab. 1999 marked the end of the Extend Cab with the Quad Cab becoming the standard option beyond the regular cab.

Thanks everybody. No I'm not in the market but it's local for sale and I was wondering. I have not seen it.

Might as well Hoot. . That's what I did. . Buy an older truck to bomb, and not go too extreme on your daily driver. .

Hammer was correct about the 160 pump. . Garmon said he had gotten over 700 RWHP out of a 160 pump with the factory plungers and barrels. . Mine made 450 cc's at only 3200 rpm without much work. .

Well the 160 pumps are not always the best. Scheid told me to go with a 913 or an 887 pump. They said they perform better above 3700RPM do to the cam profile or something like that. They said they could still get big power out of my 1800, but the variable timing of the 887/913's make them the most desireable.
