I want to know what dyno that was on, and the correction factors used for configuring the numbers. I am not doubting the number may be true, just curious the dyno set up.

Davids 248 Dynojet ... Uncorrected

The corrected # was 940 something

Guess thos who wanted the weight break from 6200 to 5500 for a single and spray aren't as happy now :-laf

The dyno was David's 248 DynoJet, and RD, the turbo is whatever was shipped from HT. I'm here to tell ya, that is one bad a-- turbo. That's the fourth one to be installed out of Jeff's shop in 2 weeks.

. . Preston. .

Any special mods or changes? or just a standard 66? Dang fine numbers... ... ...

How big a shot did it get?

You call the boys at HTTurbo and get a Sledpuller 66. Nothing special, just there off the shelf turbo. As Preston said, these are some GREAT turbo's. So far everyone installed has generated some great power and awesome EGT levels. I had heard some problems with surging on 12v's with some of these modified turbo's, but we have experienced none we know of so far.

Then you call Dennis Perry and have him sell you a TS PowerFool 2 set-up. Jeff has never used N2O before and according to Jeff, this kit rocks. Easy to install and obviously works. Why that surprises me I don't know. Dennis has only been ripping up the Pro Street circuit with it for years.

The rest is just Jeff tuning for it.

As far as the rules, they were just changed Preston so I hope they don't change again. It's because of the rules this had to be tested. Now we know.

Also understand not one of those ponies has been applied to the track yet. Still lots of testing to do.

But Albany should be interesting in a couple of weeks.

Excellent job boys! Impressive to say the least!!! I cant wait to see some video of the truck rollin down the track. Keep it up!

I am glad to see Jeff try out the giggle gas, I have been after him to do this for years... . Look out there is no turning back now! Great Job!

What's going on down there with all those ht turbos and spray?

Sounds like a lot of play and fun! 951hp! Awesome. I'll never worry about my Sled Puller 66 again!

Simply AWESOME!

How many cc's ?
And what size jets for the giggle stuff?

That's 8's rite thereOo.

Preston,
I give you the big question of the day:
Can you elaborate on which 3 twin combos these were?;)

It's not the fuel or the pill size that did it. It was the injected PowerAid that did it. (couldn't find where that was illegal) I knew they sponsored NHRA for a reason.

This after, you may here another story. Jeff got into the gas so bad yesterday, he's still got the giggles. I think he' gonna try for more. Dennis, you have made a crackhead, out of the bottle. If you heard his music, y'all would understand.

A crackhead, head banging, diesel drinking, smoke making, diesel racer. What a mix.

I agree with the nod to the HTT SP66. We must have put 20+ HT turbos on various trucks in the last year, all with zero problems - no failures. We beat on a SP 66 all season long with nitrous and all the fuel we could come up with, truck does 11 1/2 sec passes over and over again. You can't go wrong with these chargers. We beat up on twin trucks on a regular basis with these things. Congrats to the garmon group. Can't wait to see how it goes at the track.

Says who? The rules are approved, published and printed. And as the last person changes go through before they are published, I won't let changes happen without a good, solid reason - safety being the foremost reason. The racers themselves (some grudgingly) accepted the rules for '06.

Would you, perhaps, prefer that we Nascar-ize the rules, so that everyone runs the same ET and the same speed, so the only difference is the driver's weight, apparent skill and track/ambient conditions? Eliminating innovation is the surest way to kill the diesel performance industry.

Leave it to Jeff to figure it out! I expect to see him in the mid-9s this year.

Is a SP66 driveable on the street?

Yes, yes and YES. :D So much so that I have considered replacing my twins with one. (then I said to myself, self, why don't you just put one on top of the 3b :-laf )

I really like the units. Quick spool-up and great balance of boost,HP, and EGT. I'm saving my pennies now for one

But at the shop there is a 94 with nothing special except 370's and a 5 speed and it made 520hp on my rollers, and a 96 with a little more done to it running a 64/14 that made 565hp.

So far, nothing negative has come from these turbo's from what I have seen.

I was running a htt 62/14 and in Dec. went to the sp 66/14. Drives great on the street and no problems till you get on it. The ProComps complain a bit.
