Well, I have put it off as long as I could, time to tear the front end apart. The truck is a 96 2500 4 x 4. Where is a good place to get greasable front axle U joints and ball joints. Approximate cost?

Anyone running the EGR front brake rotors and pads? How do they compare to stock. Thinking of using these. Are they worth it?

Does the bearing assembly come as the bearing only or does it include the hub with it. Is there any place other than the dealer that this can be purchased?

Thanks in advance.

When I did the right front in mine a couple years ago, I bought (and recommend) NAPA's "premium" parts. The U-joints are greasable. I'd do the U-joint and both ball joints. Don't replace the wheel bearings unless you need to, mine have 250,000 miles on them.

Now it's time to do the left front. The NAPA I go to actually had the parts in stock this time.
