My 94 was having similar problems. When your ABS and brake light is on, does your blower motor still work? How about your backup lights? I had to replace the ignition switch to fix my problem. There is an updated switch that includes a wiring harness and relay for the blower motor. The connections get burnt at the ignition switch and affects the above mentioned functions.

I had the same symptoms, mine turned out to be the plug on the abs sensor in the rear axle. I didn’t even need to un plug it, I just wiggled it around some and it hasn’t come on since. If yours is like mine, it will be the only electrical plug in the rear dif, and mine plugs into the front of the housing.
