Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 96 auto trans valve body swap

Hi;just installed BD valve body. Truck works fine in 1st & 2nd but in drive it slows down after a couple of secs. Feels as if you were applying brakes. Had some shudder when trans went into drive at low throttle since installing 75hp injectors and was told needed valve body. Thanks for any help.

Did you adjust the bands? Sounds like a binding issue. Front band snug and back off 2 1/4 turns. Rear band snug and back off 2 to 2 1/2 turns. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Yes,adjusted bands. That is what it felt like to me. checked and it is ok.
