I have the opportunity to pick up a 96 4x4 that has been written off by insurance. I was thinking of obtaining it and freshening it and installing it in my 89. My engine is fine however my fuelling is limited by th VE pump. I was hoping to gain with the in line pump. Are there any pitfalls I should be aware of in this transplant? Do I require any electronic boxes or anything special? (I don't mean to control the grid heater) I realize I will have to fabricate throttle linkage. Thanks, John.

John the grid heater control that is on your truck should work without any problems, just use the same leads that feed power to the old heaters on the new.

Hey bud, do a search for used p-pump by Roadhawg and Greywolf. These fellows and boys used Freightliner fl70 parts to bolt on for a conversion. Again, thanks to Roadhawg and Greywolf. I think it was o1-06-04 Tim
