I drove home and parked her on the hill. I knew I was low but figured there was enough to get to the station. Than I got sick for a couple days. went to start her and she was running real rough shut her down and put 5 gallons in her the next day cranked and cranked and then added another 10 gallons. I guess sucking the entire line dry and being on a hill allowed the whole system to drain out. Even when she started it was rough blowing tons of smoke twice it smoothed out but than died again. I really thought it was gonna be the lift pump or worse but shes running fine now
Yes! When you crank when your out of fuel it will suck air in. Done it twice with the Freightliner, what a pain to start(at least the second time it was).
