Not sure if it was in a TDR issue. I have the instructions, but don't remember exactly where I got them. I have done a few, and now don't refer to them except for the specs. If you want, I will check my files tomorrow for the info. Maybe I can get you the info.

Does anybody got ascanned copy of issue #29 TDR? If so can you send out by PM or Email? That is where they go over timing.

I think piers and TST had the info on their websites. Also had the plunger lift amount to amount of advance info also.

Snap-On Kit SP500 is required (or similar) and a barring tool helps.

Cooker beat me to it, but his info is what I was going to post. That with some patience will get the job done.

BTW barring tool is great, but you can do fine with breaker bar on crank bolt.

For me the barring tool was a waste of money. I never use it, I use the balancer pully bolts and the alternator nut or the fan nut. The barring tool just takes too long to turn the engine over.
