96' with almost a million mi. !

I thought you guys might want to hear about this one , I know of a guy in ID that has 987000 mi on his 96' dodge cummngs 1 ton with an auto . He uses the truck to pull a three car trailer around ID. and UT. The owner claims the head has never been removed and has gone through four tranys . I don't think phord or the cheby guys could come close to this kind of service .

Over 270 miles a day..... EVERY DAY!



Uncle jack had a '96, stick with just under 500k, he towed trailers from manufacturer to dealer. Seems like these trucks need someting behind them or they just aren't happy! I asked him if he kept service records... "what service records".



Now he has one of those "Baby" KW's with a CAT in it... said he needed a place to sleep sometimes!

Can you find out if those were stock auto's?



I would like to see someone tow that hard with a modified auto to see how they hold up.

two tran's where warrantied and two where replaced by the owner , all are stock . this truck is still in use today , I wish my 2000' auto would give me the same service , in four months it has been in the shop three times and sill not working right ? Ken

The trip to Abbotsford is not that far, take it to the shop one more time and be done with it.
