97 4 X 4 Auto Fog Lights

Has anyone found a Fog Light set that fits the stock holes, mounts easily and performs decent. Sounds like a tall order. Supposedly 97 4 X 4 Autos were not available with fog lights.



Soon to try out one of those Maghytec Dana 60 covers.

Piaa 510

Piaa has a mounting bracket to install their 510 series lights in the 2nd Gen trucks. The lights and bracket would run you around 300 smacks but are well worth it. Not sure wether the brackets will work for your application but you could find a Piaa supplier and find out easily enough. Good luck

Fog lights

I have some factory fog lights for the early second Gen. trucks like your with the mounting brackets and proper replacement plastic shroud that I may be talked into parting with if you talk sweatly!!! They are brand new never installed on a truck!!! Seth

i also have a 97,auto, wanted the fog light's, ordered the kit from the dealer, the grey plastic foglight hole is not as deep

as the one that came with the truck, so it fits, but, you have to take the bumper off to install, not really a hassle at all, gave me

a reason to clean the back of all that plastic bumper trim and what have you, still have to do the wiring, THAT looks like a hassle. :--)

Do you need to purchase both part#'s from the stealer? I thought thekit had the lights, harness, etc. in one box?

The '99 and newer are in one kit. The older style comes in two.
