2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission 97 Club Cab seat spring

I had to remove my drivers seat to do some other work. There is a spring about 6 inches long that was attached somewhere on the seat frame with the other end hooked to the seat. I didn't make a mental note of the attachments points. There is not one like it under the passenger seat. Can anyone tell me where it hooks up?
