Gooseneck Hitch Question

wich one to buy?

I have a 97 ext dually and love it. I have a dump bed insert in it, and it carries a good load well. I would like to pick up another truck of a similar year in a dump configuration. Can anyone tell me what differences I will find between the two trucks? I am wondering how the brakes, axles, springs, and overall ability to haul weight in the bed and a heavy trailer might be improved in the Cab and Chassis dump setup? Are there any other years that would be more favorable in a dump setup besides the 07?

Also, I have an eye on a 97 dump with less then 20k miles on her. What should I fear with this?

Thanks so much

A true C&C is basically the same with regard to axles, transmission, etc. It might have flat/standard 34" width frame rails? The rear axle is less wide but still a Dana 70 or 80.

Do the CC have true straight frame rails like the CC from other manufacturers? Would the frame and spring setup be compareable to the other Big 2? Are the brakes on the CC superior in any way to the regular dually brakes?

Thanks fellas
