-97 Ram payload

Hello,
my -97 Ram Laramie ext. cab (Cummins)has a payload of 3. 680 lbs. The payload info original found on the sticker in the driver´s door opening, is removed.
The 4th digit (K) from the WIN code gives a GVWR rating of 8. 001 to 9000 lbs, which is much too low for allowing a payload of 3. 680 lbs. Anyone who know where to find the correct payload??

Payload is actually determined by subtracting the weight of the truck, accessories, people and pets from the GVWR which would be 8,800# if it is a 2500.
Example of this is my 2500 which weighs 7,500# with truck and peolpe so my payload would be 1,300#.

And people ask why I sold the camper and went to a travel trailer - Well the boat weighs less so I'm gonna start carrying it and towing the trailer. Besides I think pea-cups look cool carrying a boat and trailer. #ad
