Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 98 12V fuel filter

I have the stock filter head that came off of my 96 truck. I also have a used Prime Lok setup that I never put on this truck. I am installing an Air Dog, while the truck is down for repairs.

I use a metal filter wrench and an extension and a ratchet to remove the screw on filter

piece of cake to remove putting it back on is the problem the Prime loc covers up the power steering so you never think to check it until it goes dry and makes a racket.

Has anyone added a additional fuel filter on their 12 valve? I run some biodiesel & plan to add a Racor heated filter. These are three stage- turbine style water/debris separator, water block element & basket filter element. Any example would be the Racor 500fg 1210. I'd like to put this in front on the factory filter which is annoying to change... . what do you think?

I got the large Racor mounted in the bed. You DONT want to run this setup dry.
