Archived 98 24V wont' start.

Alrighty guys, this might be easy... . I'm a 12valver. A guy I work with brought his sisters 98 24v truck in for an oil change(we are techs) Now it won't fire. He has had problems the last few days getting it to start, he'd have to touch the throttle to get it to fire. He also told me driving in today it would buck a little under heavy throttle. Does this sound like a lift pump? Where do I check the fuel pressure?

We pressurized the tank. Fired up. Lift pump we think... . we are gonna replace it and go from there.

Well we replaced the LP. Truck fired and ran... . got about 35miles. Driver downshifted... when he put the clutch in... it died. . won't restart. I fear the VP died.
