My truck has 285's on stock rims and they rub the brake lines preety bad in turning positions, anyone else noticed this? Is there an easy fix? THANKS

You might want to check if the lines are positioned correctly. I run 285's/stock rims and no problem, until I brought it to a shop to take a wobble out of one disc. When they put the caliper back on they did not give it the proper spin and the line rubbed bad. Did'nt notice until I did a tire rotate.

It is easy to bend the thin bracket that attaches the brake lines to the axle housing. You can usually "adjust" the routing of the brake line to clear your tires this way. I did it to mine with no problems. I then put a piece of heater hose over the suspect portion of the brake line, and duct taped it in place for further protection. Doesn't look pretty, but added insurance is comforting when off roading far from help.

When I had my leveling cups put in they pushed the axle down to get coil spring out and bent the bracket at the frame. It would pinch when I turned the wheel tight. I didn't notice it till I was driving home from work ,came up to a light and the brake pedal went to the floor! Luckily I was stopped first and was able to quickly hit the emergency brake!
