The black plastic between the bumper and grill and the wind dam

below the bumper on my 98. 5 has turned a dull greenish gray. Any ideas on how to clean it and return it to black ?

It's just easier to replace it... . If I remember 20 or so bucks from the dealer.

I've already replaced mine ... but now I keep my truck in the garage so the "Aging" due to the sun will be much less then when I parked outside.

I noticed that the covers on the rear bumper had remained in much better shape than the front... must be made from better stuff.

discoloration

I am a DWG dealer and we have the all weather tire and trim treatment that will actually restore the nutrients and restore the the original color. Go to our web site and check it out.

If we can be of help just let us know.

Believe it or not Peanut Butter. I know it works on taking the white haze off of trim/molding when you get wax/polish on it. Its worth a try and its cheap.

Back to Black is what I've used in the past. A couple app's during the year keeps it looking use. Always use after polishing to remove the residue from all the black trim as well as the mirrors.
