Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 98.5 Help

I have a 1998. 5 2500 auto trans 2wd. My truck will stop pulling when you give it the throttle it's like the fuel just stops. I have a boost, egt, and trans temp gauge. Cruising down the road at (60) the egt runs at about 600 to 700 degrees. When you give it throttle the boost goes up to 10psi and the engine revs up but the egt does not move. But after about 30sec to 1. 5 mins the truck recovers. The fuel filter has been changed every other oil change it has just started doing this. I just bought the truck in oct. 04 it has 120,000 miles on it now. This is my only ride. Someone please help me and if you could please tell me how to do the work I would greatly thank you. You should stop by a dealer or auto parts store that can read out the codes, and see if it has set any codes. BTW 0216 is a bad one. Injector pump timing error. SNOKING

Darn every time I see a thread about Trans concerns or dead vp44's their all out of my state. Hell when I see that its money in my pocket oops I mean it's I know I can help them out at my dlr not ******* when it comes to diesel help.
