2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission 98.5 starter problems

I'm having electrical problems. Pickup will not crank when key is turned. Batteries, alternator, and starter are all good. The weird thing is when I wiggle the exciter wire on the starter the pickup will start whether the key is on or off and even when the clutch is not pushed in. Also the wires that run from the battery to the fuel heater get extremely hot. ABS and air bag light is on also power windows and speedometer do not work. Starter relay and starter relay and starter relay fuse is still good. I'm lost on where to look.

Make sure the terminals are clean, cables and batteries. Also clean the ground terminal on the engine block.
