Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 98 factory recall

Can anyone direct me to a site or perhaps know what factory recalls that have been made on my 98 12 valve? I know

there is a recall on the throttle linkage, and plan on asking if it has been fixed already. My search did not turn up what I was looking for.

Are there other issues I should know about?Getting my truck ready for a trip to Alaska and want to fix any potential problems before I head north.

LOTS of great info on this site.



Check all the hoses, belt, fluid levels, lights, tire air pressure, tire condition... ... If any of the fluids are due to be changed, this would be a good time to do them before you go.



I'd take a few fuel filters along in case you got a bad load of fuel, plus the necessary tools to change them.

There was a recall on early 98's for missing fuel heater wiring- since you're going to Alaska, you might want to get that checked. the only other recall I know of is the throttle linkage one.
