I went down to my dodge dealer and bought a fuel filter, 38$!!!!! So I had my uncle pick me one up at cummins, same fleetguard part #, but not in a mopar box. It was only $8. I havent put it in yet.

Does anyone have the part number for a 98 12V handy? I just want to make sure they gave me the right filter at the dealer, and didnt give me a cheaper one and charge me for the expensive one.

also, is the filter on a 96 the same as my 98???

*FS19598, which has integral rubber seals, replaced FS19528 (which had separate seals) this is for the stratapore, the standard Fleetguard number is FS19522

The 96 filter is different.

I've been ordering mine from Geno's. The part number on their site: FS19598

From Dodgeram.org: (great site)

for 97-99 fuel filters:

Fleetguard FS19598, Cummins 3931476 , Dodge 04883963AB

I usually do to, but i was in need of a filter and the dealer is about 30 miles closer to my house than cummins is.
