Does anyone have this? I have a '98 service manual for my 12-valve truck. The SO has a dead '98. 5 24-valve that I'm working on. (see why won't lift pump run? thread) I was looking at Chryslers site and they only show one service manual for '98 trucks, but have a 24-valve supplement for $20. Is this what you got for a 24-valve truck when you ordered a service manual? (two books?) I've noticed some differences in wire colors between the two trucks. The '98 service manual jives with my 12-valve wiring but not with the 24. Does this supplemental manual cover only the 24-valve engine or does it include other differences, such as wiring?

I'll probably order it anyway even if it only covers the engine, but would like to know more about it.

When I ordered my Factory Service Manual I did indeed get a second manual that only includes the 24 valve engine. It covers the following areas: 0 - Lubrication Maintenance, 7 - Cooling System, 8C - Charging System, 8H - Vehicle Speed Control, 8W - Wiring Diagrams, 9 - Engines, 11 - Exhaust System & Intake Manifold, 14 - Fuel System, 25 - Emission Control Systems. I have seen manuals at the dealere that includes both engines. I guess it depends when you ordered. Hope this helps!!

When I got my service manuals, there was 3, the big normal one , the 24 valve diesel supplement and an electrical manual.
