05 2500 that i tow a 5er with. i have a little nose dive on braking. replaced the stock shocks with bilsteins. still more than i would like. anyone running the replacement/optional 988 springs? ride quality, i know that is subjective, other issues?i would suspect the shocks should fit? does this increase the height in the front of the truck?thanks, johnny

If you have that much nose dive, I would think that the trailer brakes need to be turned up for more braking. It appears that the truck is doing the majority of the braking, the trailer should be doing 60% of the braking, this would minimize the nose dive. Just a thought.

My 988s lifted my front end about 1. 25-1. 50 inches. I like better. When I come off bridge approaches at high speed they seem to tame the front end bounce.

Hoefler has it right. With my new 5thr (with new brakes) when I step on the brakes I first see the nose dep some and when the trailer brakes apply the front of the truck accurally raises some because the 5'r deps in the front putting more weight on the rear wheels thus raising the front end.
