Do they make a canvas/cloth/? cold front cover for a 99-02 SPORT grille??? I dont want the inserts since I want to be able to open the "flaps" to let some air in when Im plowing. Before I did the SLT to SPORT I had a cover I bought from Cablela's. It wont work on the SPORT since the grille is obviously larger.

any ideas???

mopar direct?!?

Thank guys

Ian

The only thing I can suggest is my item in the classifieds under member basement... it is an insert but very easy to remove a panel or 2 when in the need... .

Cardboard works nicely. I thought about buying some cold fronts but placing some cardboard in front of the rad was free...

I slipped two peices of cardboard between the intercooler and radiator on my rig, free and it looks the same as in summer. And it works great. No tape either, just slide it in making sure the top is creased (like the box comes) and it will stay in place.

With my inserts, I am able to leave them on all winter up to 65 degrees outside and it doesn't get hotter than normal. It still has good air flow for the fan hub and I can take off a couple of panels if I want to tow with it..... Like take the bottom 2 panels off... .

yeah mine doesnt get that hot either. the bumper openings are still rather large, and if nothing else take 2 out. of course while your plowing I cant see needing them much at all. or if you want ot be fancy find a machine shop that cuts plastic and have them cut out a fancy design from 2 of them or something

Winter Fronts

Your trucks get warm?... . Hmmmmm interesting. I can put cardboard over 3/4 of my Radiator and still not get my truck hot,but it sure is fun to watch the temp gauge cycle from 185 to 140 like a windshield wiper arm. Updated Therostat? My azz.

without the fronts on the highway its crazy to watch it go from 190 to 140 or something like that, but with the fronts after is has cycled once or twice it doesnt drop below maybe 170. its better around town too. the truck was taking a ebating the other day probably considerable to plowing and would stay around 180-195 all of the time. never over though. nice and warm inside too
