Tested every fuse in the box, all ok. Speakers "thump" when radio is turned on, but nothing else.

Radio and dome light quit at the same time.

Where do they share a common circuit? Or just bad luck they quit at the same time?

From a 99 manual

Check the under hood light see if it is out also. There is one wire m1 22 pk that feeds both visor lights, hood light off one conector and gove box, radio, cargo lamp, dome lamp through a different connector. Power mirror is also on the same line as the dome light.

Or I am reading this manual upside down.

Where does m1 22 pk originate ? Power distribution box ? Wire color code ? We've got a 95 with the same problem and I don't have a manual for that unit.

My dash/radio/and maybe the dome light went out in my 98. 5. It turned out to be that I blew a fuse when installing a "Ham" radio in Tucson. Just inside the driver's door is a panel with a couple fuses in holders that have snaps or clips on the sides. It was one of those. I couldn't figure out how to open them when I was checking fuses but a great mech at the Dodge dealer in Sorry Vista, AZ, showed me how to snap the clips outward and installed one of the spares included in the panel. The dude looked like Dale Ernhard and didn't charge a cent. Made my day.

Good luck, Pete
