I have looked but not closely at the front brake rotors on my '99 Ram 3500. I have looked close enough to tell that they are not wearing bad and the pads are not worn bad; all of this with 109,000 miles on the clock. :D

My question is: Are the rotors made as part of the hub? On my '92, the rotors bolt to the hub and can be easily replaced if needed. I know I can have the rotors turned a couple of times, but eventually, the rotors will need replacing, and I don't want to have to buy all new hubs just to replace a worn rotors!:{

On the bright side, Dodge (actually Dana) finally done something right on the rear hubs! The brake drums on the 3500s slide on and off like the 1500 drums without having to pull the entire axle out!:D :D Oo. :D :D

the rotors and hub are two separate pieces, held together by pressed in wheel studs. On your dually, one set of studs attach rotor to hub to the spacer in the front and another set attaches your wheel to the spacer. Makes more sense if you take off your wheel and check it out.
