99 Grill v/s 2001 Grill????

First off my apology to Phil from Vienna for not being to make his incredible meet he had back on the 24th. My grandmother was just diagnosed with lung cancer and I am tending to some of the family matters. NOW with the question of the day. Is there a difference between my 1999 grill and a grill from a 2001 sport other then color?? For all you tdr guys there are about 7-8 grills on ebay for sale along with bumpers etc...

There IS a difference between the Sport and non-Sport grilles. The Sport grille is deeper.

I just looked at the ones on eBay since you mentioned it, and I see none that those of us wanting to upgrade to a Sport look can use.

Would a 99 sport grill be different then a 2001 grill??? I have a chance at buying the whole front end and I meen everything for 1100 smackers. That includes the grill all brackets headlights fog lights upper bumper lower bumper stuff. Its all brand new. However the grill listed for 305. I was just trying to save even more money. I want to make me 99 front end a 2001 sport. Its been done but its does have a price.

Hey Randy, yes the 99 and 01 grilles are the same, only if they're sports.

Hey Pounder,,Where on EBay did you find them,I'm looking for a 99 or newer Flame Red sport front for my 98 sport,,I like the newer style rather than the bumper facia deal on mine now,,Newer ones are far smoother looking to me,,Let me know
