2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission 99 High output or not

just bought 99 and want to change out the lift pump,140,000 miles, need to order the right pump.

No HO in 99. But just too make sure, look on the front drivers side of the engine. You will see a silver tag with numbers on it. On this tag is the hp and torque ratings. If it says 235hp its not an HO. If it says 245hp it is. Also I think 99 (and maybe very early 00) was the only year for the 235hp six speed.

As said above, no HO in '99. The only other version there might be is the california version. (?) don't really know if there are any mechanical differences though.

Think about upgrading!! Why put a junk OE lift pump back on. Look at the new FASS pump, little more money, but no more worries of killing your VP!! Just an idea.....
