99 wheels

Friend has a 99 3/4 4x4 (chrome rims) and wants to put a set off a 2000 or 2001 (alumium rims) on his 99: Will they fit?

When I was going to replace the wheel liners on my dually, most of the ads said "fits '94 to '98" when, in fact, at that time they would fit '94 to '01. It seems to me that all the 2nd Gen. trucks have the same wheels.

Nope

They will not fit over the rear drum brakes. I have heard of some guys doing some grinding on the drums to make them fit but I wouldn't don it.

front and rear wont fit. Search for a post i did a few mos back. I explained what you had to do to make em fit. Not worth it. I bought 4 alcoas and lugs/caps for 490. They are awsome... . RRR

I am running 2001 alloys on my 1997 2500. I did have to turn down the rear drums. The front required no modification. pm me if you would like the details.
