Anyone have a source for aftermarket A-arms? My bushings are shot and squeaking like mad! I figure if I have to replace the bushings I could get A-arms with zerk fittings so I can grease the front end. Any help would be apreaciated!

oops

Somebody please fly down here and help me get my foot out of my mouth:D As a diehard 4X4 guy i forgot that these trucks come in 2X4 (cant imagine one without that awesome solid axle in the front. oh well dont they make a conversion??)

Now will some one with some smarts help this fellow out

as I am obvoiusly not qualified on this subject

Maybe a 4X4 forum is in order that way the moderater wont have to exclude me from posting:D

Diesel Dan,

Yep, 2500 2wd! Bushings have 160,000 miles and are screeming!

I want to replace them and be able to lube them. As a last resort I will install zerks in the arms myself. Thanks for the return comments anyway!

Charlie:D :D :D

At the risk of putting my foot in my mouth, I believe the v-10 and cummins have the same control arms. I have searched high and low for a set of arms so I can raise the front more than 2. 5 inches. No luck. No one of the standard suspension manufacturers makes anything for the 2500. Lowering springs are about the only thing available. I had to go to Valley Spring to get a custom set of 2" lift coils wound so my Reunel didn't hit the road.
