Queen Hillary

I have to express my appreciation for all those of you who encouraged, contributed, and otherwise helped me get my truck. It's home now, sitting in the front yard. Very nice, and after a little work on it, I'll get some images posted.

I especially want to publicly thank certain individuals who went way out of their way to help a stranger. Some I have met in person, some not, but they are truly good neighbors, and I wished I lived closer.

OO (Scott Reece). Scott flat towed towed my truck with a towbar... IN A SNOWSTORM, to Las Vegas. A nicer guy you could not ask to meet.

Diesel Dan (Dan Burley) Dan took hours out of his evening, a lot of time on his phone, and a lot of PITA stuff to get paperwork done and the transaction secure.

JAnderson (Jeff A) Jeff has taken a lot of time out of his days over and over to be a banker for the venture. His attention to details and careful efforts are the definition of class. Thanks Jeff.

EKarr (Eric Karr) Eric drove his truck and long delivery trailer through LA style traffic to get to the truck and gave it a very thorough checking out. He took a lot of his time and for him, time is money, to do a dirty job that would get him nothing in return. Thanks Eric.

KatDiesel. I am not sure if I should kick him in the butt or give him a hug, but Kat's the one who started the effort to help me get a truck, and I would never have done it without that impetus and momentum. But, Thank You.

And there are others, some of whom wish their names not mentioned, who have been most helpful, some hugely, and some in small ways, none insignificant, I wish to publicly say a big Thank You.

In the Bible, there is a term called "Grace", and in that context, it means "unmerited favor". You guys have all extended that kind of grace to me, and I am in your debt. I will never once see that truck and not recall that fact. It makes it much dearer to me than it ever would have otherwise.

Again, Thank you all

Yes, Merry Christmas!

Now, get that truck up to the NW BOMBers when the weather gets nicer so we can BOMB the heck out of it! A lot of us are chomping at the bit to turn some wrenches... .....

That would be fun... But we need to do it on a Sunday for me.

And, we need good roads :(

It's NOT 4WD.

I'm hoping to get a 12CM housing on, and injectors in, and pump timing tweaked pretty quick and I'll get that done myself. It needs a torque converter, too. That bucket of mush slinging around underneath just isn't up to the task.

I want to go straight pipe as well. Love to hear that turbo working :)

Ah, not exactly so, Grasshoppah! ;) You earned every bit of it by being there with answers and advice when we needed you. It is we who owe you! Here's wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas!
