I have a very unusual problem with my a/c. The system continually blows the 10a fuse for the a/c clutch when the engine clutch is let out and I begin to take off.
The fuse pops as soon as the clutch is let out and the truck rolls a few feet.
However, the fuse does not pop when the truck is in nuetral and the RPM's are ran the entire band to 3k.
I replaced the compressor twice, First with a rebuilt unit and now brand new one. The dryer and orifice tube have been replaced as well.
the fuse housing color when blown is still clear and not charred black inside telling me that its a dead short when the truck transmission is engaged.
This is drivin' me bonkers. Any ideas where to look for a short... something. .
2003 2500 6spd.
TIA
