Ok I need some help on this one. I was using my A/C yesterday then is stopped blowing cold. So this morning I checked the fuses unter the hood. Sure enough the a/c clutch was blown the 10a one. So I got on out of the spares and it blew also. I do not eve know where the a/c CLuth is or looks like. Need some idea on this one. It is getting hot in FL.

Thanks,

Craig

The AC clutch is attached to the AC compressor and is powered by the fan belt..... Its a simple test to pull the connection at the compressor and put a new fuse in the circuit... if the fuse doesn't blow its in the compressor clutch..... if the fuse blow with the clutch disconnected its in the wiring or circuit to the compressor...

I'd take an ohm meter and check the compressor clutch for open shorts and grounds.....

If this is over your head... . take it to an AC specialist... . as it gets more complex from here on.....

Ok thanks any idea if it is the A/C clutch if I need to have any other parts relaced when this goes? And maybe a close cost to how much it could run?
