When i was changing my oil, there was the normal condensation drip near the right wheel well. As it seemed to be dripping down a number of parts, I followed the drip to the hole in the wall. The water just comes out, drips down the wall. It seems like there should be a tube to get the water away from the other components. My dealer said that there is no tube. Before something really rusts out, can anybody tell me if they have a tube for their A/C condensation?

thanks,

Craig

Yes. There is supposed to be a black rubber hose that sticks on that little nub sticking through the fire wall. Mine fell off too but I found out as all the water was turning back on that bung and running inside the cab and soaking the carpet. I just got some clear vinyl hose and ran it down to the frame so I could see where exactly it was coming from so I wouldn't worry about all the random spots.

Check you carpet pad on the passenger side and dry it out if needed.

The trucks do not come with a hose, but a drain hose off an older car will fit and work.

I use heater hose (5/8" I think) on all three of my trucks about 2 ft long. Drains below any compaonents. Another advantage is I can mix hot water and some liquid Lysol and clean/flush evaperator. Only put about a cup of hat water w/ a tbl spoon of Lysol.

Guys, thanks. An interesting range of replies. My carpet was wet on the passenger side. I found that out when I was running some electronic wires under the carpet on that side. I'm going to find a hose that fits.
