Here's my idea: Install a catch bucket (maybe an window washer bottle) under the evaporator drain to catch the water that usually runs out onto the ground. To that attach a window washer pump and hose that leads to a PVC pipe placed on top of the A/C condenser. The pipe will be like a manifold that has several spray nozzles in it pointing down onto the Condenser. When you get into your truck on a hot summer day and want a faster cab cool down, push the button to spray some of the collected water onto the condenser to give it a little help cooling down the cab.

Is this a great idea of what? Been done? Anyone wana through in with me and become milionares?Oo.

The problem I see with it, the A/C will filter out dust and other small airborne particles. The dirt and dust that will collect in you collection container will plug your sprayers and pump.

Good point, easy enough to add an inline filter somwhere in front of the sprayers. But what do you think about the idea? Will it work? Will it actually lhelp?

mid 80s to early 90s mercedes bosch fan, the brackets are simple steel angle going to existing holes/studs, relay is big 2 pole fan relay wired into compressor signal to send power to fan through a resistor for low speed, other half of relay is straight power for high speed at the flip of a switch for when its really hot or i am going to be idling for a while

resistor location for airflow

pretty much any fan you can fit behind the grill will work but i like this one as they are quiet, large and long lasting, they put them on a ton of different cars too, just about every benz for 10 years had one of these
