Question about gauges

this is not necessarily a problem. depending on your blower speed and outside temperature and humidity level, cycling can occur.

if you have the blower on low and it's only 80 degrees with 20% humidity, it will cycle.

if you have the blower on high and it is 90 degrees with 90% humidity, you should not have any cycling at idle.

if this last condition is your case, you need to put gauges on the system and see what your high side pressure is. there is a chart available to tell you what the approximate pressure is, based on outside temperature. your charge may be low.

also, the low side pressure at which your compressor cycles off should be between 24 & 30 psi.

this is only a general guideline. hope this helps.
