2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission A/C Freon valve problem

I have a 2 k dually dodge with CTD and the freon valve started to leak on the hose from a/c pump to cab and I pulled out the freon valve and lost it and now I cant find a valve to replace it with, ******* /Dealer says I have to buy complete hose?( thats like buying a whole wheel and tire instead of vave core!) so does any one know who sells the core vavle (shrader valve)? I went to several parts stores and none of theirs fits my line, It larger than a tire valve core too! I even tried some replacement conversion cores too and they just wouldnt fit and thread in! I dont have my old one due to loosing it when I took it out! I hope someone can help or sell me one? thanks for reading this post!

Check with a shop that does A/C in houses- central units have valves that are larger than the ones in tires.

There was a fella about a month ago who did the same thing. He found a replacement, but I can't remember where. Try a search on a/c valve core

Thanks guys, I did the search and found one , he had bought one from carquest part # 409575 ! I will try them and see if its still avail, thanks again everyone who helped!

I went to carquest and got the part # 409575 and it was not like my original one, so im back to square 1 now what?
